Change

Change.

Change is often Exciting.

Change is often Intimidating.

Change is often Unexpected.

Change is Always Inevitable.

Even so, I don't usually adapt well to it; Not a good trait for me to exhibit, because My family is facing quite a few changes. Some good. Some we aren't sure are good at all.

For this one thing though, I am forever thankful: Jesus Christ is ALWAYS the same (Hebrews 13:8).

He is my strength when I am weak.

He is my refuge when I am afraid.

He is my constant in this world of change.

I am glad I have Him to hold on to when change sneaks up on me when I least expect it.

Otherwise, I would go into a tailspin. I would lose control. I would hide in fear.

Funny how you think some things will always be a certain way, then they up and, you know..... change.

Please pray for my family as we face a world of new opportunities. Some we are excited about. Some we are leery to step into. Some things we are reluctant to let go of.

One thing I know is that God is in complete control of our lives. We want Him to be. We would not have it any other way. Because, after all, He NEVER changes!!!

CHANGE! Did you mention change? OOOOOOOOOOOOh. It stretched and strengthens, scares us and scars us! I am praying that in the midst of it all God will show up and take you through the change so you can see what a mighty God He is.

Recently I felt inertia in my grief process losing my husband this spring. Then suddenly a crisis arose. In the middle of "not knowing" I had a sense to thank God for the storm. I would call all of this CHANGE. When all was concluded well I prayed asking for some understanding.

I believe we're like boats on water and the worst thing for us on our way to "destiny" is no wind. I love a gentle tropical breeze and that keeps me moving, but when a storm blasts through I move!!! I feel that when we are aligned in our spirits with God we will move at great speed on our "sea" when the storms blow.

When we are all into our selves or anything but God; a storm can be destructive.

So much Change is in my life these days I have had to give up all and beleive that God will show me His way to go and be. There is nothing boring in this place and gloriously He is here!!!
